Business Analyst
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst that has technical skills in development for a contract located in Sunrise FL. Qualified candidate will be able to translate programming language and write use cases. You will be the liaison between Business Partners and the Software Development group. You must also have the ability to adapt to a propriety customer interface software package created by our client. You will be working directly with a group of 3-5 developers and business partners in order to streamline communications between the two groups
Independently perform complex analysis of existing systems for compliance with system requirements.
Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and decompose client needs to determine systems requirements as they apply to the client's information systems.
Facilitate joint application design (JAD) sessions with stakeholders (internal and external).
Implement computer systems in a phased approach of requirements analysis and conceptual design, site survey, system design review, critical design review, installation, integration, and testing with minimal oversight.
Analyze existing systems and define, design and develop new integrated system requirements.
Determines system specifications, input/ output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Perform requirements analysis for a wide range of users in areas of healthcare and benefits process automation.
Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.
Apply activity and data modeling transaction flow and business process flow analysis; internal control and risk analysis; modern business methods; and performance measurement techniques.
Communicates regularly with internal and external customers.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
8 or more years experience information technology and software development.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with agile/SCRUM lifecycle management.
Experience working on CMMI Level 3 programs.
Ability to lead client problem-solving and the recommendation development process.
Ability to understand and document an organization’s business workflows.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Ability to understand and explain complex information simply and accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without losing ability to multi-task.
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
**This is a 6+ month contract, possibly longer.
