United Collection Bureau has provided debt collection and accounts receivable management services to creditors since 1959. UCB offers financial stability, trained staff and technical capabilities to provide the most effective accounts receivable management and debt collection services available today.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Contact consumers to identify barriers preventing payments on disputed accounts.
Negotiate payment arrangements/solutions to help consumers satisfy outstanding debts.
Provide professional customer service in an accurate and timely manner.
Document calls appropriately in all systems.
Resolve accounts in a time-sensitive manner.
Maintain a positive, problem-solving approach and positive relationships within a team environment.
Requirements:
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
The ideal candidate should possess the skills, competencies, and abilities listed below in order to successfully perform the job and to be considered for the position:
Excellent written, communication, and listening skills.
Basic computer skills.
Basic mathematical skills. Ability to execute multiplication, division, and percentage mathematical functions.
Commission driven, self-motivated and goal oriented.
Ability to remain professional at all times.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Collections, sales, and/or telemarketing experience a plus.
Competitive ludes Hourly Pay + Performance Based Commissions. Hourly Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Commission is based on performance.
