Controller Duties and Responsibilities
A controller performs all his duties under the guidance and instructions of the chief controller of a company. The duties and responsibilities of an assistant controller are:
He or she will have to prepare various financial statements and reports of the company according to the rules and regulations of the accounts and company
He or she will have to take part actively in the budgeting process of the company and executing the financial terms accordingly to the work.
He or she will have to inspect the data and information and has to be ensured by reviewing the financial data of the company from time to time that the activities are proceeding as per regulations
He or she will have to ensure about the financial activities of the company that they are taking place as per decided schedule.
He or she will have to prepare the final records such as balance sheets, trial balance and ensuring if all the accounts are justified and transparent with the rules.
He or she will have to make regular reports of financial statements and proceed them to the in charge officer
He or she will have to take care of all financial aspects of the company such as preparation of salaries accounts, expenses accounts, income account and all other financial accounts related to the work.
