Floor Technician Per Diem position*
Description:
Floor Tech-PRN-per diem
Under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor,
maintains the assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, internal and
external restrooms, associated lounges, offices and locker rooms by
providing housekeeping services. Insures optimum sanitation and a
clean environment is achieved and maintained utilizing aseptic
techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes, using a
variety of cleaning devices. Employee assigned to area will follow a
daily schedule (subject to change) at the discretion of the nursing
staff. Employee stays in work area and is available to perform
environmental / linen tasks as requested based upon area needs.
Ensures that customer quality expectations are met, promptly
answering pages. Performs weekly project work. Performs other related
tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Must be able to comprehend
spoken English.
1 year experience preferred
Must be able to work alone in restricted area performing work for
extended periods of time.
