Kronos Payroll System Specialist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for generating reports in various mediums including Lawson, MS Access and Lawson Add-in for MS for analysis on compensation, benefits, statistics, and other reporting as needed.
Provide monthly and quarterly reports via MS Addins for Directors
Analyze payroll trends of Guarantee hours and OT hours
Audit HR changes made to HR/Payroll Lawson system in addition to auditing payroll entries for accuracy
Audits Kronos Payroll by rollout for GTE payments, new hires, terminations, and historical edits with impact accruals for accuracy.
Responsible for the performance and reliability of the Kronos systems
Maintain Kronos Interface lookup tables
Develop Best Practices procedures for the Kronos System and maintain updated Kronos manaul
Provide support as necessary for eLabor
Other duties as assigned by Payroll Manager
Prepare and/or maintain documentation pertaining to user documentation, systems operations for the Lawson applications in HR/Payroll.
Analyze payroll procedures for accuracy and compliance
Compose monthly control charts and pareto charts for accuracy and accountability
Provide support for Lawson Upgrade, testing, implementation, and documentation of system accuracy.
Participates in projects and other activities related to all Kronos modules, from initiation through transition to operations
Translate requirements gathered and assist Kronos Consultant in the programming and testing
Keep Integration Manager look up tables up to date after new rules have been added to the Kronos system
Requirements:
- Four year Degree in Accounting or Business or related fields
- Five years Payroll related experience with multiple entities, multiple state tax jurisdictions
- Report writing skills or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have experience with Kronos Workforce Central 6.1 or Higher.
