Manager - Social Media

The Social Media Manager oversees social media specialists in their communication with the end consumer in both directions. He/She ultimately manages the social media strategy on a regional level and works hand-in-hand with network teams and marketing/communications departments in order to achieve local and global objectives per brand and assigned market. This digital-savvy employee reports to the Social Media Director and is responsible for all content creation on Facebook, Twitter, Google and YouTube. It's a Web 2.0 communications role, incorporating online tools and communication tactics to create relationships and ultimately build the company's brand, online.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage local relationships with relevant marketing, digital and communications teams and ensures strategic alignment

2. Gather requirements and buy-in from local stakeholders for global product development and activations execution

3. Oversees adsales and affiliate sales integration on SM execution and digital commercial packages

4. Creates fan acquisition strategies to ensure reach growth

5. Work with marketing teams in making campaigns social and viral for program publicity and engagement

6. Supervises messaging, content calendars and crisis management for the region

7. Supervises contest implementations on any social network and ensures such practices are on brand, on schedule and comply with platform policy.

8. Help establish close relationships with Facebook, Twitter and platform vendor on a regular basis

9. Work with Director and regions to create case studies and project debriefs
