Manager-Structural Analysis/Gas Turbines/FEA/CAD
CLIENT is ACTIVELY INTERVIEWING and MAKING OFFERS NOW! Need in Isabela Puerto Rico an experienced Manager specializing in Structural analysis of aerospace components and systems and leadership capability for an aerospace engineering services company. Positions are Direct hire with full relocation offered.
Responsibilities:
-> Lead a mid to large size engineering department. Accountable for quality of engineering services, on time delivery, customer engagement and satisfaction, planning and execution of billable resources, head count targets, employee development and satisfaction, company-wide continuous improvement initiatives
-> Develop 2D/3D finite element structural models from computer-aided-design (CAD) models and/or engineering drawings
-> Carry out static stress, low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue, acoustic analysis, damage tolerance (GDT) and vibration analyses to ensure design meets system level and component level criteria
-> Perform component validations from test data (e.g., strain-gage, noninterference stress measurements, etc)
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Civil (Structures) Engineering required. Master in Engineering preferred, MBA a plus
-> 6+ years experience in the gas turbines engineering or related discipline and 10+ years experience in their discipline. Previous experience as Project Lead, Team Lead or Supervisor
