Marketing Analyst
JOB PROFILE
The position will be responsible for researching, managing and maintaining customer and marketing files for an outbound call center. Responsibilities include gathering information on customers, competitors, and methods of marketing within the various states the company operates. The successful candidate must be able to use the data obtained to perform market analysis that will be utilized to build marketing campaigns used throughout internal and external sales rooms and channels. This position is also responsible for the daily transactional queries and reports that support the day-to-day operations of the sales group; in an effort to optimize sales results. Manage customer and external lead data to create targeted and segmented campaigns to optimize sales resources; improve customer contact and close rates; and minimize customer acquisition costs. Monitor and validate the quality of purchased or existing leads and provide strategic input into the identification and purchasing of new leads. Assist in daily and monthly forecasting of productivity and sales.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collect and analyze large volumes of data on customer demographics and identify potential marketing campaigns.
· Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and be able to translate complex findings into clearly written documentation.
· Work with IT and Sales Departments to upload leads, perform maintenance and cleanup and manage the Leads Management and Reporting System.
· Develop campaigns as per the business requirements.
· Collect historical or trend data from internal systems and perform post-mortem analysis to measure effectiveness of past sales and marketing campaigns.
· Measure effectiveness of lead quality.
· Forecast and track marketing campaigns using trend analysis.
· Develop daily and weekly reporting to measure effectiveness of sales floor in outbound campaigns.
· Measure and assess employee satisfaction.
· Formulate strategies to enhance lead segmenting and dialing strategies using SIC codes, revenue levels and other criteria.
· Create and review daily/weekly operational reports.
· Identify qualified lead source vendors and develop good working relationships with external vendors while minimizing costs.
SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS
· MBA in a qualitative/quantitative discipline or Management of Information Systems.
· Minimum 5 years experience in a Marketing Analyst or similar position required.
· Experience with customer lead development in an outbound call center desired.
· Candidate must possess strong analytical skills and enhanced quantitative business methods.
· Candidate must have the ability to understand and apply business logic to validate underlying data and results.
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and database querying required.
· Advanced skill set in writing SQL queries and knowledge of SQL commands is required. Experience with MS-SQL and/or other comparable database language. VBA experience is helpful.
- · Must be skilled in report development and design.
- · Experience with outbound call systems utilizing both preview and predictive dialing is desired.
- · Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytical services will be an added advantage.
- · Experience in the Energy Industry is a strong plus.
- · Excellent verbal and written skills are required in order to articulate, present and communicate ideas to upper management.
- · Candidate must be detailed oriented and highly organized in order to work with and manage large volume data sets.
The marketing coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the marketing department, assisting with creation and implementation of marketing initiatives to enhance overall brand presence and company sales throughout the development of marketing collateral, P/R Social media campaigns, lead generation campaigns, market research and event attendance.
Developing sales collateral, marketing literature and quarterly newsletter ensuring valid current and active content.
Coordinate all social media related activities to enhance company brand presence
Coordinate events including meetings, speaking engagements, seminars, trade shows and exhibits
Develop marketing , public relations and award programs to increase membership growth recognition and retention.
