Job Summary: Plans, coordinates and administers the policies, procedures and operations of assigned section. Supervises the personnel and activities of section and is responsible for the overall efficient function of the section. Provides oversight to the adherence of standard operating policies and quality assurance requirements, as well as provide on-the-job training for hospital Associates, Laboratory Associates and volunteers. Job Requirements: Education: * Graduate of an approved program in clinical/medical laboratory training program or Bachelor's degree in one of the biologic, chemical or physical sciencesORGraduate of an approved clinical/medical laboratory training program and meet the minimum educational and training qualifications provided in 42 CFR 493.1489. Experience and Skills: * Minimum three years experience as a Medical Technician in a hospital setting preferred. Licensure/Certification: * Must be licensed as a Medical Technologist or Medical Technician in the State of Florida in multiple area(s).
