Recruiter

Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Tasks:



  • Develops recruitment plans with hiring managers.

  • Creates a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

  • Efficiently and effectively fills open positions.

  • Conducts regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

  • Develops a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

  • Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

  • Posts openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.

  • Utilizes the internet for recruitment.

  • Attends career fairs for recruiting and to increase company recognition.

  • Communicates with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport and source new candidate leads.

  • Evaluates applicants to determine if they meet the position requirements.

  • Assists in performing reference checks for potential employees.

  • Conducts thorough prescreen interviews within the guidelines set by the Human Resources department.

  • Selects qualified candidates for departmental interviews.

  • Writes and sends rejection letters.

  • Prepares offer letters.

  • Assists with recruitment promotions and advertising.

  • Monitors current job openings and requisitions.

  • Responsible for correspondence regarding new hires’ and transfers’ requests for gaming licenses.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.








 



Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree Required


  • Bachelors Degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in recruiting

  • Experience with staffing company preferred


  • General proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office products, e-mail and Internet

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact

  • Exceptional detail and follow-up skills

  • Multi-task oriented

  • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action


Schedule - Full time; Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
