The Senior Associate Dean of Medical Education will provide leadership, guidance and assistance to the Dean as the position will oversee all educational programs in the school and medical student education, curriculum design, development and assessment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead administrative person for all curriculum committees. * Responsible for internal education of faculty and staff including on clinical sites of all curricular offerings and expectations. * Staffs committees on curriculum and evaluation. * Key responsible person for preparation of all accrediting reports. * Works in concert with other Ross/DeVry offices on compliance in academic areas including financial aid. * Leads curricular changes as determined with faculty. * Develops curricular maps. * Responsible for any new degree granting programs(e.g. MS in Health Professions Education) * Responsibility for preparation and performance for comprehensive and step examinations. * Responsible for educational technology(e.g. simulation) in concert with DeVry. Qualifications:

* MD degree, at least 5 years of experience in medical student education and educational administration including accreditation standards in a U.S. medical school. * Experience in developing and implementing curriculum design and assessment in a medical school. * Demonstrated successful leadership in academic medicine and specifically in educational programs with a clear vision for the health education of future physicians. * Experience with financial management, and a team-oriented approach to leadership and management. * Experience as a faculty member with participation in the clinical, research, and/or education missions at a medical school. * Previous accreditation preparation experience preferred.
