.Assist in optimizing the Promotion forecasting Process.




.Process Mapping & Data Analysis. Create flow charts to illustrate workflow processes
.Assist with forecasting analyses to validate sales forecasts Sales Operations & Production.
.Work closely with merchants for each product category
.Assist with Monitoring SKU levels and usage
Qualifications:
.Functional knowledge of demand and supply planning, logistics, procurement, and production planning
.Strong analytical and quantitative skills
. Proficiency PC skills with strong proficiency in Excel, database and analytical tools
.Knowledge of demand planning, logistics, procurement, and production planning
.Strong analytical and problem solving skills
.Proficiency with inventory management processes
.Must have analytical skills to create detailed workflow processes and charts
.Knowledge of computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

Project Description:
. Developing recommendations of spare parts using the following categories:

Stored on-hand
. Pooled inventory (i.e., regionally) and Vendor managed / consigned


. Gaining visibility to and analyzing all facilities' current parts inventories
. Perform parts gap analysis
. Developing a parts database
. Partnering with appropriate vendors for parts availability / recommendations
. Investigating maintenance tracking tools that available industry-wide
. Quantify financial impact of recommendations
. Develop Gantt chart for transitioning to and executing recommended strategy (may be longer-term depending on financial impact)
. Good organizational skills, time management, project management, detail oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills, able to deal with ambiguity, learns quickly, good problem solving skills
Supply Chain Analyst, Sales & Operations Planning
These projects are in our 2012 Initiatives and could be assigned to this person for support:
Student enrolled in post graduate Engineer, MBA or Executive Masters program.
Review and Update ABC Class methodology, replenishment algorithms, and/or Safety Stock algorithms.
Short term to provide a business review and recommendation to management.
Medium term to test, monitor, & implement results of recommendations.


Results should produce increased turns and improve service levels.
Problem Solving/Analytics
. Strong analytical skills, data mining and quantitative techniques.
. Strong knowledge of mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, simulation and optimization.
. Good knowledge of Supply Chain operational methods and procedures, Inventory Management, Transportation, Demand Forecasting.
Technical Skills
. Strong knowledge of SQL 2008, MS Office including access and excel.
. Good working knowledge of mathematical modeling, decision analysis, statistical and simulation tools.
. Experience with business intelligence and reporting applications (e.g. SSIS/SSAS, COGNOS or similar).
. Skilled in data retrieval, data management, data modeling
Supply Chain Analyst, Supply Chain Analytics Team
.Improve warehousing/distribution efficiencies by recommending both systemic and operational changes based on current/forecasted expenses, labor costs, inbound/outbound volume, shipment types, etc.
.Assist with field support issues, clarification of reporting/analysis requests, and training recommendations.
