Ideal underwriting candidates will possess recent experience:
Frontline underwriting
Working Conventional, FHA or VA loans
High volume underwriting
Reviewing and verifying all items provided by the borrowers and ensures that they meet the required guidelines.
Makes recommendation for approval or decline depending on the size of the credit request while work with senior credit approval officers.
Requirements:
Requirements of the Mortgage Underwriter!
3-5 years experience of recent frontline underwriting experience required
Extensive knowledge and experience with Conventional loans
Highly Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Prefer experience with a large bank
Fannie May, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, Jumbo and 203K loan expertise will be considered
